Man Killed After Being Dragged 400 Feet In Philadelphia Hit-And-Run

A 33-year-old man died after being struck by what police believe was a black Cadillac Escalade early Wednesday morning in Kensington.

PHILADELPHIA — A man died in a hit-and-run in Philadelphia's Kensington neighborhood early Wednesday morning, according to police.

The crash occurred at about 3 a.m. at East Lehigh Avenue and Emerald Street, police said.

NBC reported the impact of the crash knocked the victim's shoes off and that he was dragged 400 feet.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The vehicle drove off and was last seen speeding, heading west on Lehigh Avenue.
