Man Killed In High-Speed Crash Identified By Philadelphia Police
According to reports, the vehicle's engine and transmission were found in the middle of the road after the crash early Friday morning.
PHILADELPHIA — A man died in a high-speed crash on Frankford Avenue in Philadelphia early Friday morning, according to police.
The crash happened at about 12:53 a.m. on the 9200 block of Frankford Avenue.
Police said a silver 2024 Kia Telluride was heading south "at a high rate of speed" when the driver lost control of the vehicle.

The Kia careened off the road and struck a fixed utility pole before hitting an unattended parked vehicle.
Officers found the driver, identified as 32-year-old Ziyodillo Tursunpulatov of the 1800 block of Welsh Road, unresponsive and trapped inside the wreckage. According to Action News, Tursunpulatov was found in the back seat of the vehicle.

Medics pronounced Tursunpulatov dead at the scene at 1:09 a.m.
