Man Sought After Robbing, Shooting Man At Convenience Store

Philadelphia Police said the man seen here is sought in connection with a robbery and shooting on July 12 at a business on Kensington Ave.

PHILADELPHIA — Police in Philadelphia are asking for help finding a man sought in connection with a shooting and robbery.

The incident occurred July 12 in a convenience store on the 3100 block of Kensington Avenue.

Police said a 31-year-old man was robbed at gunpoint in the store and then confronted the suspect outside the store.

During the confrontation, police said the suspect shot the victim in the neck.

The victim is listed in critical condition.

Police said the suspect was last seen fleeing the area on a blue and silver Trek mountain bike.

The suspect was described as a black man who was wearing a black mask; a black hooded sweatshirt with short or cut off sleeves, white splotches and large white graphic with “BIG” on the upper-right chest; black pants; and shoes.

He also had a large black backpack with multiple compartments.
