A special Lyft Rideshare Pickup Zone will be set up at the Mann Center to make drop off and pick up a breeze.

PHILADELPHIA – The Mann Center for the Performing Arts and rideshare company Lyft are teaming up to give concertgoers a smooth experience getting to and from shows being hosted at the Mann.

The center and Lyft announced the partnership recently, saying the Mann will feature a special Lyft Rideshare Pickup Zone to make drop off and pick up much easier for those going to and coming from the Mann.

The zone will be located at Crawford Circle at the Mann.

“It wouldn’t be summer in Philadelphia without outdoor concerts at the Mann,” Catherine Cahill, President and CEO of the Mann Center for the Performing Arts, said in a press release. “We are thrilled to partner with Lyft because we know that the concert experience extends beyond our gates and are working continuously to ensure our visitors enjoy their evening from start to finish.”

The Mann and Lyft will also be working on new ways to ensure riders get to and from the center easily, the press release states.

“Both Lyft and the Mann are community-driven, and as the Mann’s preferred rideshare partner, we’re bringing that community together around a love of music,” Andrew Woolf, General Manager Philadelphia at Lyft, said in a press release. “Lyft Line can help concertgoers meet their neighbors as they head to an evening performance at the Mann, and when the show lets out, a Lyft can be waiting. Our new matching product, Amp, will also help passengers easily find their drivers among the many cars exiting the Mann after a show.”
