Monkeypox In Philadelphia: See Case, Vaccine Counts Here
The city is getting monkeypox vaccines from the federal government, and to date has administered 1,613 doses in the city.
PHILADELPHIA — The Philadelphia Department of Public Health will now be providing weekly updates on the monkeypox outbreak in the city, listing case counts and vaccine availability.
According to the health department, 82 people in Philadelphia are considered to have monkeypox.
Six of those people have been confirmed to have monkeypox through CDC testing.

To date, 1,613 monkeypox vaccines have been administered in the city.
The Health Department is not yet able to release data on demographics of cases or vaccines, but plans to as more cases and vaccinations are recorded.

The city has been receiving vaccine from the federal government to help contain the monkeypox outbreak.
Monkeypox vaccine access has expanded for eligible Philadelphians, recently.
In addition to calling the Health Department’s Call Center at 215-685-5488 for people who feel they may have been exposed or are at high-risk, patients at several health care clinics can receive monkeypox vaccine at no charge.
Monkeypox vaccines have been provided to the following clinics for distribution to existing patients:
The clinics will be reaching out to their patients to offer appointments. None of these clinics are providing walk-in vaccine appointments.

- Drexel Partnership
- PennMedicine
People who are at high-risk or may have been exposed but are not existing patients at these clinics are encouraged to call the Health Department’s Call Center at 215-685-5488.
The call takers will review eligibility and set a vaccine appointment if eligible.
According to health officials, the 2022 monkeypox outbreak has affected the community of gay, bisexual, transgender, non-binary, and other men who have sex with men.
