Nurses Struck Outside Philly Hospital, Vehicle Found: Reports

Three nurses were tending to a shooting victim outside Penn Presbyterian Hospital early Saturday when they were struck by a Jeep.

PHILADELPHIA — Three nurses were hit by a vehicle that sped off while attending to a shooting victim outside a Philadelphia hospital this weekend.

It all happened at about 4 a.m. Saturday outside Penn Presbyterian Hospital, NBC10 reports.

The nurses were hit by a silver Jeep Cherokee that initially pulled the ambulance bay but then drove off, striking them as they cared for a 28-year-old shooting victim, according to Fox 29.

Authorities found the Jeep in Upper Darby and said it was a rented vehicle, Action News reports.

Two of the nurses are in stable condition, while the third is critical.
