PHILADELPHIA — The latest winter storm has snarled traffic on roads and in the air, with numerous flights canceled across the U.S. and in Philadelphia.

Data from FlightAware shows there have been more than 4,000 flights canceled and close to 2,400 delayed Thursday morning, as a winter storm stretches across the U.S.

A winter weather advisory is in place for parts of eastern Pennsylvania, and plummeting temperatures will likely leave sheets of ice in the region.

As of 10:30 a.m. Thursday, there have been about 119 cancellations at Philadelphia International Airport, according to FlightAware.
