Overnight Work Affecting I-76 Traffic Next Week In Philadelphia
PennDOT said paving work will force lane closures on sections of Interstate 76 west in Philadelphia during overnight hours next week.
PHILADELPHIA — Pavement repair work will affect traffic on Interstate 76 in Philadelphia overnight next week, according to PennDOT.
Work will take place from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m. the following morning, Monday through Friday on Interstate 76 west.
The affected portion of road is between Montgomery Drive (Exit 341) and the U.S. 1 North Roosevelt Boulevard (Exit 340B) interchanges.

Work will be done in sections.
This work is part of a $36.8 million project to resurface and repair nearly five miles of the interstate, the associated on-and-off ramps, and 23 bridges from U.S. 1 South (City Avenue) to Interstate 676 (Vine Street Expressway) in Philadelphia.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays may occur.
