Overturned Truck Closes Eastbound Ben Franklin Bridge

PHILADELPHIA — Drivers heading into New Jersey are urged to avoid the Benjamin Franklin Bridge, as a truck crash has closed all eastbound lanes.

A tractor-trailer overturned on the highway at about 11:20 a.m., according to the Delaware River Port Authority.

Officials urged drivers to find alternate routes into New Jersey, such as the Betsy Ross or Walt Whitman bridges.
