"Overwatch League Grand Finals" Invade Philly This Weekend
The Overwatch League Grand Finals have arrived in Philadelphia and a fun weekend is plan ahead of the main event on Sunday.

It has arrived. The Overwatch League Grand Finals have arrived in Philadelphia. The E-Sport event will be holding it's annual Grand Finals on Sunday, September 29th at the Wells Fargo Center for the first time ever. The event is sold out with over 20,000+ people expected to attend the live event. But, if you were not able to grab a ticket to the grand final itself, the league has a fun weekend in store for all fans to enjoy even if you are not attending the championship.
The fun started September 25th, with the groundbreaking ceremony of the Fusion Arena, the new and future home of the Philadelphia Fusion, Philadelphia's Overwatch League team. The new arena will be in the Sports Complex along with Lincoln Finicinal Field, Citizens Bank Park and the Wells Fargo Center. The arena will be home to the Fusion's home matches in a gorgeous 60,000 square feet arena with completion scheduled to be in 2021.
The fun is just getting started as on Saturday, September 28th, the eve of the Grand Finals, a special concert will be held at the Wells Fargo Center starring DJ Martin Garrix, Matt Ox, and PAX. The event will feature music from all 3 artists all in a outdoor concert event to kick off the Grand Finals. The event will take place at 7:30 PM and tickets are still available on the Wells Fargo Center website.

Then, the finale all happens on Sunday September 29th with the Overwatch League Grand Finals as the Vancouver Titans will take on the San Francisco Shock for the covenant Overwatch League Grand Finals Trophy and $1,100.00. But that is not the only fun happening that day. A few hours before the finals at 10:30, there will be a special Fan Festival held right outside the arena with food, music and activities from several sponsors such as Toyota, Bud Light, T-Mobile, State Farm, Fanatics, Kellogg's and more all in a free 3 hour event. But that is not all, right across the street at Xfinity Live, you will be able to watch the event along with the later in the day Phillies game all on their tv's with delicious food and drinks. And inside the arena at 2:30 PM, Grammy Award Winning DJ, Zedd will be performing a special set right before the start of the Grand Finals along with DJ and "Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon" personality, QuestLove playing tunes all throughout the event.
Overall, Blizzard Entertainment, creators of Overwatch guarantee a "fun and exciting weekend for the city of Philadelphia and Overwatch fans all over the world." The event will be able to watch live on ABC, ESPN and Twitch at 3:00PM-6:00PM.
