A pedestrian died after being hit by a vehicle they stepped in front of as they walked along Interstate 676 early Wednesday morning.
PHILADELPHIA — A pedestrian died after being struck by a vehicle as they walked along Interstate 676 in Philadelphia Wednesday morning.
Action News reports the crash occurred at about 4:20 a.m. on I-676 west between the Broad Street and Ben Franklin Parkway exits.
The pedestrian was walking along the right shoulder into the left lane and stepped in front of the vehicle before being struck, according to NBC10.

The striking driver remained at the scene, Fox 29 reports.
Authorities have not identified the victim.
