Pennsylvania SPCA Cutting Dog Adoption Fees By 50 Percent
All adoption fees of dogs 40 pounds and higher will be cut in half this weekend through Sunday, Jan. 16 at the Pennsylvania SPCA in Philly.
PHILADELPHIA — For the next week, the Pennsylvania SPCA in Philadelphia is offering discounted adoption fees for certain dogs.
From Saturday, Jan. 8 through Sunday, Jan. 16, adoption fees for dogs weighing more than 40 pounds will be reduced by 50 percent.
The PSPCA’s Philadelphia headquarters is filled with amazing adoptable dogs who for unknown reasons have not yet found their homes.

The organization’s adoption team is hoping that these reduced fees will encourage those who have been waiting to adopt to finally do so.
The headquarters is located at 350 E. Erie Ave., Philadelphia.

Potential families are encouraged to head to the organization’s adoptable dogs website online here before to visiting the shelter to find pups they may be interested in.
No appointment is necessary to adopt a dog, individuals and families are encouraged to come to the PSPCA’s Erie Avenue headquarters anytime during adoption hours. Hours are noon to 5 p.m. on weekends and noon to 6 p.m. on weekdays.
