Petition Launched To Keep NFL Draft In Philly
Would you like to see the event return to the city, or did the traffic caused by the draft make you irate? Let us know in the comments!

PHILADELPHIA – It seems as though the NFL Draft being in Philly was a big hit. At least for some (who probably don't live in the city and didn't have to deal with weeks of traffic issues). In fact, it was so popular, that a petition has been launched to keep the draft in the City of Brotherly Love and Sisterly Affection.
Radio station 97.5 the Fanatic launched the petition that has more than 4,600 signatures of its 5,000 signature goal.
"Philly has a reputation for being a tough town," the petition reads. "Philadelphia sports fans represent that toughness. We all know the stories; snowballs, Santa, batteries. But during the 2017 NFL Draft in April, 250,000 people represented Philadelphia for who we really are... passionate about our city and football."

The petition goes on to say Mayor Jim Kenney said he'd welcome the draft back in 2018. But talks of moving it to... Dallas have been rumored. Surely passionate Eagles fans are not OK with that.

"We can't let this happen, we need to show the NFL that we want the Draft back in 2018... if for nothing else, it's another reason for a great party," the petition reads.
If you want to bring the draft back, head over to the petition's website to sign your name.
If you hated all the issues caused by the draft, then don't sign the petition. It's that simple.
