Phanatic Ranked 9th Best MLB Mascot In Ridiculous List

PHILADELPHIA — In what could possibly be the most bogus list of all time, the Phillie Phanatic was ranked the MLB's ninth-best mascot of all time.

You read that correctly: No. 9.

When looking at the iconic mascot's rank in the list from fantasy sports website Rotowire, one might assume the publication is akin to the Onion, offering up satire and irony.

But no, Rotowire is not looking to get laughs.

There is no methodology to the list, which was drummed up at the staff's whim.
