Philadelphia Proud Boys Leader Arrested For Capitol Riot: Reports
Zach Rehl, President of the Philadelphia chapter of the Proud Boys, was reportedly arrested at his Philadelphia home Wednesday morning.

PHILADELPHIA — The leader of the Philadelphia chapter of the Proud Boys, a right-wing extremist group, has been arrested in connection with the Jan. 6 riot at the United States Capitol, according to reports.
Zach Rehl, 35, was reportedly arrested Wednesday morning at his home in Philadelphia's Port Richmond neighborhood.
Rehl is reportedly the president of the Philadelphia chapter of the Proud Boys

While charges have not been announced, Rehl has been accused of conspiring to obstruct law enforcement at the Capitol and the Congressional certification of 2020 election, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer.
WHYY reports Rehl is a veteran and the son of two Philadelphia police officers.

The arrest comes on the heels of the Inquirer identifying Rehl in photos of videos of Proud Boys marching toward the halls of Congress and getting past security perimeters on Jan. 6.
