Philadelphia St Patrick's Day Events To Check Out
While there are too many events to list them all, we've got details on some free and paid events you'll want to check out while Saturday.

PHILADELPHIA – It's that time of year when we all are a bit Irish, as March 17 is St. Patrick's Day. While the Philadelphia St. Patrick's day parade was March 11, there are still ways to celebrate Irish heritage and culture this weekend, including family-friendly events and events for those 21 and up.
There are too many events to list them all, so we've got a round up of some free and paid events that celebrate the holiday going on this weekend in the city.

Annual St. Patrick’s Day Commemoration
At 11 a.m., Saturday, March 17, the Irish Memorial at 100 S. Front St. will host its annual St. Patrick's Day Commemoration. The event will feature a wreath presentation, shamrock planting, and changing of the flags.
Notable dignitaries set to attend include Mayor Jim Kenney, Congressman Brendan Boyle,State Representatives Michael Driscoll and Tim Briggs.

Timmy Kelly and Theresa Flanagan Murtagh will sing both the United States and Irelands' national anthems.
The Erin Express Pub Crawl
Fore more than 30 years, this pub crawl has given Philadelphians a free bar crawl to enjoy adult libations on the holiday. From about 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., buses will shuttle pub crawlers between 15 Philadelphia bars, free of charge. Buses will stop at each bar on the list every 15 minutes. Attendees must be 21 years old.
This year, the crawl is partnering with Miller Lite to offer specials at the participating bars.

St. Paddy's Day at XFINITY Live!
The South Philly spot is hosting a party from 9 p.m. to noon Saturday, March 17 with live music and drink specials.
Bangarang will perform at the part while attendees enjoy drink specials and green beer. The night will also feature a cash confetti celebration.
Free parking is available after 8:30 p.m. Entry is free.
St. Patrick's Day Workout - Run - Sale - Drink
From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., the Art Museum steps will host the St. Patrick's Day Workout - Run - Sale - Drink event. Attendance is free, but registration is required. Register here. Registration gets you a store-wide discount at Philadelphia Runner Manayunk on March 17.
The schedule for the event is below:
- Core Group Workout with CoreFitness 9 a.m. (CoreFitness Discount Link, coupon code for $10 off: LoveRun10)
- All Paces Group Run (6.2 miles) from step to Philadelphia Runner in Manayunk 10 a.m.;
- Store-wide discount at Philadelphia Runner 11 a.m.
- Meet up with folks from Manayunk Beer Runners & Norristown Run Club for drinks at Jameson’s U S Hotel Bar and Grill 11 a.m. in Manayunk
Kiss Me I'm Irish & Gay
Philly's Gayborhood has it's official St. Patrick's Day party set for 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, March 15 at UBar, 1220 Locust St.
Tickets cost $20 online and $325 at the door and get you drink and beer specials, music, food, and more. Each ticket also gets you one free drink. Tickets are available online here.
Family Festival – St Patrick’s Day at Please Touch Museum
The Please Touch Museum is offering a series of family-friendly events for St. Patrick's Day on March 17. Check out a schedule of events below:
Program Room: Shades of Green Collage – 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Temporary Program Room, Lower Level. All ages with adult caregiver.
Create works of art inspired by your trip to the museum. Dig through a selection of green materials, play with texture and shades, and finally shape your own green collage.
Tot Spot: G is for Green – 10 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the Fairytale Garden, Lower Level. Ages: 2-3 with adult caregiver.
Join in activities, songs, and play especially designed to offer our youngest visitors time and space to socialize with others and strengthen early learning skills. Investigate the sounds, feelings, and movement of the color green.
Storytime – 1:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. Wordsworth Cottage, Main Level. Ages: 3+ with adult caregiver.
Get cozy and listen and travel to Ireland through stories and songs.
Chef Demo – 11:30 a.m. to noon and 2:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. Carousel House, Main Level All ages with adult caregiver
Meet Chefs J.C. and Krzysztof as they demonstrate how to make some yummy Irish food. Taste Shephard’s Pie and decorate with mashed potatoes. Afterwards, take home a recipe card to make everything at home!
Performance: Coyle School of Irish Dance – noon to 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. Hamilton Hall, Main Level All ages with adult caregiver
Gather together to watch people of all ages perform Irish step dancing! Coyle School of Irish Dance is here to demonstrate this well-loved dance style – you might even learn a step or two!
Music and Movement: End of the Day Party – 4:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. Hamilton Hall, Main Level. All ages with adult caregiver
Stretch, wiggle, and move your body as we end our day with a musical party!
St. Patty's MegaFest with The Soul Cruisers at The Field House
The Field House at 1150 Filbert St. will host The Sensational Soul Cruisers and other acts for an outdoor St. Patrick's Day celebration.
The party will run from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. The Sensational Soul Cruisers will take the stage at 2 p.m.

St. Patrick's Day Paint and Sip
Marv Loves Too, 2762 N. 2nd St., is hosting a paint and sip event with a St. Paddy's tilt on from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday, March 17.
For a more low-key celebration, you can get two complementary cups of wine while painting your own piece of art (which is yours to keep, of course) and enjoy an appetizer.
