PHILADELPHIA — Spooky season is in full swing in the Philadelphia region, which happens to be one of the top cities for Halloween fun in the nation.

WalletHub recently published a list of the Best Cities for Halloween in 2024.

And Philadelphia was a top 20 city.

To determine the best locations for Halloween, WalletHub compared the 100 largest U.S. cities based on 20 key metrics.

They range from costume stores per capita to the crime rate to the share of potential trick-or-treat stops.

With all those factors considered, Philadelphia was ranked No. 20.

Philly was ranked 19th in terms of trick-or-treat friendliness, 40th for Halloween fun, and 29th for Halloween weather.

Out west, Pittsburgh, the home of horror master and zombie godfather George Romero, was ranked No. 32.
