Phillies Jerseys To Have First-Ever Sponsor Patches
For the first time in the club's history, Phillies players will have sponsor patches on their jerseys, the team said Wednesday morning.

PHILADELPHIA — The Philadelphia Phillies will be joining the growing list of professional sports teams that feature sponsors on their jerseys.
The team has entered an agreement with Independence Blue Cross (commonly referred to as IBX), which is headquartered in Philadelphia, to wear an IBX patch on team jerseys.
The team will don the patches in Wednesday night's game against the New York Yankees.
