Phillies Tailgate Party To Benefit Alex's Lemonade Stand
Enoy beer, food, music, game, and more before the Phils take on the Nats Saturday night, all for a great cause.

As the Phillies go to take on the Washington Nationals in their first home night game of 2017, many people are likely to tailgate before the game. Well, why not tailgate for a good cause?
A paid tailgate party will be held in Lincoln Financial Field’s K Lot at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 8 ahead of the game to benefit Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation.
The Phillies will take on the Nationals at 7:05 p.m. Saturday.

The tailgate party is hosted by Mike and Kelly Goldovich.
"Mike Goldovich began hosting a tailgate in 2010 out of the back of a pickup truck with a few cases of beer, a small grill and 20 friends," a press release said. "Given the ongoing relationship his company, Northwestern Mutual, had with ALSF, Mike decided to turn the tailgate into a charitable event. By 2013, the tailgate was bringing in $1,000, after our out-of-pocket costs."
