Philly Brewing Co Hosting Vegan Beer Fest July 20
The event is free to attend and will feature vegan beers and food, music, games, and more.
PHILADELPHIA — Beer lovers and vegans rejoice: a vegan beer fest is coming to Philadelphia this weekend.
The Philly Brewing Company is hosting its first Vegan Beerfest from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday, July 20 at its location.
This is the city's first vegan-focused beer fest and will include several vendors, listed below, as well as the brewing company's vegan brews.

Participating vendors are:
- J.Zavala Catering – vegan tamales with chipotle yam and kale
- Martha – Vegan Jawn – carrot terrine, fermented radish, dried eggplant, cabbage, mayo
- Philadelphia Brews Creamery – vegan ice cream made with Philadelphia Brewing Co. beers and Commonwealth Ciders
- Chocolates by Kevan – vegan molded chocolates filled with handmade nut butters, fresh fruit gels, and ganache
- Witching Hour Sauce – locally-made vegan hot sauce
- Darling Nikki's BBQ – handcrafted bbq and hot sauces
There is no cost to attend to the event, as it is a pay-as-you-go event.

Attendees can sip on pints of the company's full line-up of vegan beer offerings at the bar in the Peacock Room at Philadelphia Brewing Co. or from the newly built outside bar in the recently-expanded beer garden.
In addition to the beers and foods, you'll be able to enjoy free outdoor lawn games — such as corn hole, over-sized Jenga, giant Connect Four — while enjoying live music.
