Philly Chefs Coming Together For James Beard Foundation Tasting Event

PHILADELPHIA — The James Beard Foundation has honored numerous Philadelphia restaurants and chefs in recent years. Now, the foundation is looking to introduce these lauded chefs and their offerings to more people by hosting Taste America: Philadelphia.

Taste America: Philadelphia will take place at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at the Philadelphia Museum of Art.

The event will feature a gathering of chefs from the Philadelphia culinary community with food stations being hosted numerous chefs. A full list of participating chefs and restaurants is featured below.

It will be hosted by Jezabel Careaga of Jezabel’s in Philadelphia, with guest chef James Beard Award Semifinalist Patricia Estorino of Gustazo Cuban Kitchen and Bar in Boston.

Each station’s offering will reflect the chef’s signature style and highlight the uniqueness of their restaurant and community. The tasting will also have beverage stations and other activations from our national and local sponsors.

The full menu has not been released.

Tickets are $200 for general admission and $250 for premier tickets, which grant early entry at 6 p.m. Get tickets online here.
