The 25-year-old officer has been suspended and will be terminated soon, police said.

PHILADELPHIA – A Philadelphia Police Officer turned himself into the department's Internal Affairs Unit Tuesday, April 26 after an investigation by the police Special Victims Unit that alleged the officer was in possession of child pornography, according to police.

In the investigation, authorities used a computer program to find people who view, download, and share child pornography.
Through that program, they discovered an IP address in Philadelphia had been downloading child pornography, police said.
Police later executed a search warrant on that address, learning later that Folly lived there with his parents, according to police.
Police said the investigation is continuing.
Folly will appear in court for his preliminary hearing on May 8, court records show.
