For both shows at The Mann, Mt. Joy will be partnering with Philly based, Sharing Excess, to collect food donations for the local community.

Mt. Joy recently collaborated with Jason Kelce and The Philly Specials on their annual charitable holiday album, where Mt. Joy reimagined their top song "Astrovan" to become “Santa Drives An Astrovan."

The release was accompanied by a music video featuring Kelce and Matt Quinn driving through Philadelphia delivering gifts in a classic Chevy Astrovan. The video climaxes at a Mt. Joy performance, where Kelce joins the band on stage at Lincoln Financial Field. The video was shot in front of a live audience at the stadium ahead of a victorious Thursday night football game for the Eagles.

Proceeds from the annual holiday project go to support Operation Snowball, Children’s Crisis Treatment Center’s Holiday Toy Drive and Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia Snowflake Station in addition to other Philadelphia based organizations.

Quinn returned from LA (where the band was formed) and currently resides in Olde Kensington. This fall, Quinn joined Amos Lee onstage at Philly Music Fest and Mt. Joy partnered with Wawa. The band's recent single, "Highway Queen" provides the soundtrack for a Wawa commercial.

"The dream has always been to win Philly over," Quinn said. "Sam and I are from the area. I still live in the city. I know that when this city comes together and gets behind something, that energy is unhinged and unmatched. We saw a glimpse of it last year at our sold-out show at The Mann. 12,000 of you getting down with us. It brought me to dang tears feeling so supported by our hometown. For 2025, let’s double down. The challenge is clear: set up camp at The Mann for two nights and be the best party in town that weekend. Cya soon, Philly and Go birds!”

Mt. Joy’s other new single, “She Wants to Go Dancing,” has reached the Top 15 on the AAA radio charts. Frontman Matt Quinn will perform solo to a sold-out audience on Dec. 20 at Union Transfer and proceeds from the show will be donated to World Central Kitchen. Currently, the band is recording a new album in Philadelphia for a 2025 release.
