Philly Man Escapes Blair County Prison Sunday: Police

A Philadelphia man awaiting trial on drug charges in Blair County escaped custody Sunday, according to Hollidaysburg Borough Police.

PHILADELPHIA — A Philadelphia man awaiting trial on drug and related charges has escaped custody in Blair County, according to authorities.

Isaiah Robert Tilghman, 33, of Philadelphia, escaped custody Sunday. Tilghman was being held for trial on charges of drug possession, tampering with records, fleeing to avoid apprehension, and more crimes.

Hollidaysburg Borough Police said Tilghman is 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs about 160 pounds.

According to the Altoona Mirror, Tilghman was taken into custody following a drug bust at an Altoona hotel in May after leading police on a foot chase

Authorities found more than $100,000 in various drugs, including fentanyl, methamphetamine and cocaine on Tilghman when he was arrested, the outlet reports.
