PHILADELPHIA — A Philadelphia man pleaded guilty to child pornographer possession in federal court Wednesday after authorities said he recorded himself sexually abusing two children.
United States Attorney David Metcalf said Isaiah Smith, 19, of Philadelphia, pleaded guilty to possession of child pornography.
According to federal authorities, Smith maintained a collection of child pornography images and videos of prepubescent minors, including videos that the defendant recorded as he sexually abused two different child victims: a six-year-old girl, and a nonverbal three-year-old boy, on multiple occasions.

Smith is scheduled to be sentenced on May 6 and faces a maximum possible term of 20 years in prison, with a mandatory minimum of five years up to lifetime supervised release, mandatory financial penalties, and mandatory registration as a sex offender under SORNA and Megan’s Law.
