According to the Internet Movie Database, the upcoming superhero movie "follows Superman as he reconciles his heritage with his human upbringing. He is the embodiment of truth, justice and the American way in a world that views kindness as old-fashioned."
In 2019, Corenswet told Entertainment Weekly that he "would love to see the next [Superman] be very bright and optimistic"after Henry Cavill portrayed a darker, grittier iteration of the beloved superhero.
Corenswet has appeared in shows such as "House of Cards," "The Politician," and "Hollywood."
His film career includes "Pearl," Look Both Ways," and "Affairs of State."
He has also starred in a number of Philadelphia-area stage productions.
