Philly Ranked 6th Best City For Sports In US: WalletHub

PHILADELPHIA – We love our sports here in Philadelphia, and WalletHub says our city was among the "Best Sports Cities" in 2018.

In search of the best sports cities from the fan’s perspective, WalletHub compared 419 cities across more than 50 key metrics related to the football, baseball, basketball, hockey, and soccer in the country.

The cities earned a score in each sport, and those scores represent the most favorable conditions for sports fans.

Philly came in 6th overall for best large sports cities. Large cities include those with more than 300,000 people.

The city was ranked 8th for best cities for football fans, and 10th for best cities for basketball fans.

Unfortunately, we didn't crack the top 10 in the baseball, hockey, and soccer ranks.
