PHILADELPHIA — A Philadelphia teenager who went viral for his college acceptance video has earned a full scholarship to his school of choice.
Germantown Friends School student Amir Staten was all over the internet back in February when a video of him sprinting down the street in joy after learning he was accepted into Morehouse College went viral.
Now, Staten is going viral again.

According to Good Morning America, the 17-year-old boy has earned a full scholarship to Moorehouse, which is an all-male historically black university in Atlanta.
Staten's mother shared a video with the outlet of her son crying upon learning he earned a community service-focused scholarship.

Staten completed more than 120 hours of community service, captained his basketball team, and was the head of Germantown Friends School's Black Student Union.
