PHILADELPHIA — Many Philadelphia 76ers fans rejoiced when news broke of Ben Simmons being traded for James Harden last week.

The 25-year-old Australian baller was welcomed with open arms in Philadelphia back in 2016.

But fans turned sour on Simmons last season due to a lack of results and off-the-court drama.

Stateside Vodka will take your jersey in exchange for a gift card.

That's right: you can get a $25 gift card for Stateside just by giving them your now useless Simmons jersey.

Stateside will be donating the collected jerseys to a shelter in Brooklyn called The Kensington, which is fitting as Stateside is located in the city's Kensington neighborhood.

The deal is good through Feb. 28.

Stateside Vodka is located at 1700 N. Hancock St. in Philadelphia. Jerseys can be dropped off 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday, 5 p.m. to midnight Friday, noon to midnight Saturday, during weekday work hours to hand off to someone at the distillery’s offices.
