Philly Woman Claims Poop Was In Her Domino's Food

PHILADELPHIA – A Philadelphia woman claims she found feces in a Domino's Pizza order she got recently, prompting a response from the City's Health Department and Domino's.

Marta Rusek ordered her food on July 22 and when she got it, something seemed off.

She checked the order, which came from the Domino's on North 21st Street, and found what she is convinced is poop in it.

"I poked it and smelled it," she told the Philly Voice. "Definitely poop."

She took photos of the food and then posted them to Twitter, which resulted in Domino's responding directly. Rusek also said she contacted the Health Department.

"We take this seriously," Domino's tweeted back at Rusek. "Please DM us your email and phone# so I can assist you further."

Rusek thanked whoever reached out, but reiterated her concerns about her findings saying she was planning to contact a lawyer and doctor as well as the Health Department.

"I have enjoyed your cheesy bread and pizza for years, and I tip your delivery team members as much as I can," she replied to Domino's tweet. "I still can’t believe your employees did this."

That Domino's was about to get a visit from Health Department inspectors but when they showed up earlier this week it was closed and the windows covered, according to officials.

Rusek has since made a "crucial" update to her Twitter bio after the incident.

It now reads: "Star Wars, pizza*, and feminism. If you don't like those things, please swipe left. *Except Domino's."
