PHILADELPHIA – Villanova is the Philadelphia area's most recent championship-winning team, and to honor the NCAA men's basketball championship victory, the City of Philadelphia is throwing a parade for the Wildcats.
The parade began at 11 a.m. at 20th and Market streets and will end in Dilworth Park at City Hall for a rally.
Fans got into position to celebrate the team's third national championship as early as 9 a.m. Thursday.
