Iconic Show Seeking Contestants From Philly Area
You could be a contestant on the longest-running game show in TV history. Here's how.
PHILADELPHIA — Philadelphia, "Come on down!" You could be a contestant on "The Price Is Right."
The longest-running game show in TV history will hold a contestant search from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday at Rivers Casino Philadelphia (1001 N Delaware Ave.). Guests can begin lining up at 10 a.m.
Auditioning contestants will meet with producers for about a minute each to show off their "personality, enthusiasm and excitement," according to Rivers Casino.

Afterward, producers will select two lucky contests for travel to and accommodations in Los Angeles. One of them will have a guaranteed chance to compete on the show.
Potential contestants must be legal U.S. residents and 18 or older. CBS Philadelphia says to download, sign and bring this video release.

Hosted by Drew Carey, "The Price Is Right" has been airing since 1972. Contestants are selected from the studio audience to compete in a variety of games.
