PSCPA, 'Beauty And The Beast' Musical Partner For Senior Pet Adoption Initiative
The "TAIL As Old As Time" initiative highlights eight senior animals, each paired with a themed "cast" role inspired by their personalities.

PHILADELPHIA — Disney’s "Beauty and the Beast" is coming to Philadelphia's Academy of Music for a nearly two-week run of shows. And to celebrate the beloved fantasy tale coming to Philly, the Pennsylvania SPCA is partnering with Ensemble Arts Philly and Disney’s "Beauty and the Beast" to promote senior pet adoption.
Through the "TAIL As Old As Time" activation, the Pennsylvania SPCA is highlighting eight senior animals, each paired with a themed "cast" role inspired by their personalities.
Adoption fees for the featured seniors will be sponsored during the engagement, and adopters will receive a pair of tickets to the show.

"Beauty and the Beast" will run from Feb. 11 to Feb. 22 at the Academy of Music. Get tickets here.
"Based on the 1991 Academy Award-winning animated feature film, Disney’s 'Beauty and the Beast' premiered on Broadway in 1994 and still ranks as the 10th longest-running show in the industry’s history," Frances Egler, Ensemble Arts Vice President of Theatrical Programming and Presentations, said. "Critics have raved about the show throughout its history, from its 1994 Broadway premiere through the recent smash U.K. and Australian productions. Ensemble Arts Philly is so excited to welcome this iconic show back to Philadelphia as part of our award-winning Broadway series."
