'Real Life Rockys' Sought For New Mural Series In Philadelphia

The public can nominate people who embody the grit, determination, and heart that Rocky represents.

PHILADELPHIA — Do you know a "real life" Rocky Balboa?

If so, Visit Philadelphia wants to hear about them as it plans to install a new mural series that honors the area's "real life Rockys."

"We are looking for four inspiring individuals from across Philadelphia who embody the grit, determination, and heart that Rocky represents," the nomination form reads.

The public is invited to nominate people they believe reflects those qualities.

Four nominees will be chosen to be featured in Mural Arts Philadelphia's first-of-its kind mural series highlighting Philly’s "real life Rockys."
