Reported I-95 Shooting In Philly Was Actually A Crash: Police
The incident brought a large police presence to the area and jammed traffic on the interstate.
PHILADELPHIA — After a shooting was reported Tuesday on Interstate 95 in Philadelphia, investigators found that it was just a one-vehicle crash with minor injuries, authorities said.
A shooting was reported Tuesday afternoon on I-95 near Aramingo Avenue, said Tpr. Paul Holdefer, a State Police regional spokesperson.
State Police determined that the incident wasn't a shooting and didn't involve a gun, Holdefer said.

It's unclear why the incident was first reported as a shooting.

The incident brought a large police presence to the area and contributed to a massive traffic jam in the afternoon on I-95 South.
All roadways have fully reopened, according to 511PA.
