Rock & Roll Legend Peter Frampton Coming To Philadelphia On New Tour
The 74-year-old Grammy Award-winning and soon to be Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee is heading out on tour and stopping in Philadelphia.

PHILADELPHIA — One of classic rock's most popular artists is heading on tour and bringing the show to Philadelphia later this year. Peter Frampton Tuesday announced he will be embarking on a new tour, "The Positively Thankful Tour."
The 74-year-old Grammy Award-winning guitarist and soon-to-be Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee — whose live album "Frampton Comes Alive!" is widely considered one of the best live albums of all time — will bring the tour to The Met Philadelphia on Sept. 19.
Tickets will be available at 10 a.m. on Friday on Frampton's website.

Despite the announcement of his farewell tour more than four years ago due to a diagnosis of the degenerative disease inclusion-body myositis, the iconic rocker is still hitting venues across the nation.
"It’s been an incredible year for me and my band so far," Frampton said. "First the nomination, then you guys voted like crazy and got me into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Come September, we’ll be back out for nine more shows on ‘The Positively Thankful Tour’! Can't wait to see you then!"

Frampton is set to be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland this fall.
