Rocky Statue Gets Jack-O-Lantern Head For Halloween
Sylvester Stallone himself shared a photo on social media of his likeness at the Philadelphia Art Museum adorned with a jack-o-lantern head.
PHILADELPHIA — Philly loves Rocky. And one trickster turned the iconic statue of the movie protagonist into a Halloween display.
The statue depicting Rocky Balboa at the Philadelphia Museum of Art was adorned with a jack-o-lantern on its head sometime overnight Monday into Tuesday.
Sylvester Stallone himself shared a photo of the statue with the pumpkin head on his social media pages Tuesday.

"Rocky just bought a new hat that’s edible," Stallone wrote on Instagram. "Happy Halloween."
Action News reports Rocky's head was covered in a bag before the carved pumpkin was placed on it to protect the bronze statue.

It's unclear who put the pumpkin on the statue.
Visitors to the statue had been known to place items on it, including sports jerseys and COVID masks.
