School District Of Philadelphia Closing Wednesday

The district is closing its doors Wednesday as more severe winter weather is predicted to hit the Philadelphia region.

PHILADELPHIA – All School District of Philadelphia schools and administrative offices will be closed Wednesday, March 7 due to the looming storm that is set to bring more harsh winter weather to the region.

The district said all after-school activities, including all athletic programs and professional development sessions, scheduled for Wednesday are canceled, as well.

Additionally, all Archdiocese of Philadelphia schools in the city will be closed Wednesday. Archdiocesan high schools and parochial elementary schools in the suburban counties normally follow the decision of their corresponding local public school district and submit closure status independently.
