PHILADELPHIA, PA — A Secret Service agent escorting former First Lady Jill Biden shot himself at Philadelphia International Airport on Friday, federal officials confirmed.

No one else was injured in the incident, the Secret Service said in a brief statement confirming the incident. Jill Biden was not near the agent at the time of the incident.
