SEPTA Regional Rail Schedule Changes Start Sunday

PHILADELPHIA — Changes are coming to SEPTA's Regional Rail lines in an effort to improve on-time service and reliability for riders.

Beginning Sunday, Dec. 15, SEPTA will make changes to the Airport, Chestnut Hill East, Chestnut Hill West, Fox Chase, Glenside Combined, Lansdale/Doylestown, Manayunk/Norristown, Media/Elwyn, Paoli/Thorndale, Trenton, Warminster, West Trenton, and Wilmington/Newark lines.

There are no changes planned for the Cynwyd Line.

Airport Line

Weekday Service

Outbound (towards Philadelphia International Airport)

• Train #3419, departing Suburban Station at 8:55 a.m., will become Train #2407 and will operate through service to all scheduled station stops on the Manayunk/Norristown Line
• Train #461, departing Suburban Station at 7:25 p.m., will become Train #3475 and will operate through service to all scheduled station stops on the West Trenton Line

Chestnut Hill East Line

Weekday Service

Inbound (towards Center City)

• Train #757, currently departing Chestnut Hill East at 6.23 p.m. will now depart all stations 13 minutes EARLIER, arriving at Suburban Station at 6:48 p.m.
• Train #759, currently departing Chestnut Hill East at 6.47 p.m. will now depart all stations 5 minutes EARLIER, arriving at Suburban Station at 7:19 p.m.

Outbound (towards Chestnut Hill East)

• Train #774, currently departing Suburban Station at 9.49 p.m. will now depart 11 minutes EARLIER from all scheduled station stops

• Train #6207, departing from Miquon Station at 8:22 a.m. will become Train #2407 and will operate to Philadelphia International Airport. This train will depart 1 to 2 minutes EARLIER at East Falls, Allegheny, North Broad, and all Center City Stations arriving at Suburban Station at 8:55 a.m.
• Train #2327, currently departing Elm Street at 9:54 a.m. will become Train #227 departing 6 minutes LATER at 10:01 a.m. and up to 7 minutes LATER from all scheduled station stops. Service will operate through to Marcus Hook Station on the Wilmington/Newark Line
• Train #2329, currently departing Elm Street at 10:53 a.m., will become Train #229 departing 8 minutes LATER at 11:01 a.m. and up to 9 minutes LATER from all scheduled station stops. Service will operate through to Wilmington Station on the Wilmington/Newark Line
