A 29-year-old pizza delivery driver was fatally shot at about 9 p.m. on the 2000 block of Ridge Avenue in Philadelphia, reports state.

PHILADELPHIA — A pizza delivery driver was fatally shot Thursday night in Philadelphia, according to reports.

The shooting occurred at about9 p.m. on the 2000 block of Ridge Avenue near Pete's Pizza, NBC10 reports.

A 29-year-old man working as a delivery driver was found shot multiple times in the driver's seat of his vehicle, according to Action News.

Fox 29 reports the driver was identified as Danny Matthews, who was taken to Temple University Hospital, where he later died.

It is believed he was killed in a robbery.
