Man Shot On Center City SEPTA Platform During Friday Commute
Broad Street Line trains heading north and south are bypassing 15th Street/City Hall station due to police activity, SEPTA said.
PHILADELPHIA — A man was shot at a Center City SEPTA platform during the Friday morning commute.
The shooting happened at about 7:30 a.m. on the northbound platform at City Hall station, SEPTA said.
The victim was transported to the hospital. His condition is unknown.

SEPTA officials said the shooter, a man, surrendered to police and is a permitted gun owner.
An altercation was captured on video before the shooting, according to SEPTA.

Additionally, Market-Frankford Line passengers are boarding trains on the eastbound platforms from 15th Street Station to 8th Street Station due to police activity.
