Sixers Regular Season Tickets Go On Sale Thursday

PHILADELPHIA, PA — Not since the Allen Iverson days, and perhaps not even then, has there been so much preseason anticipation for the Philadelphia 76ers.

Tickets go on sale for the 2026-27 season at 10 a.m. on Thursday on the Sixers official site here.

Prices are higher than they've ever been for a home opener. The cheapest seats for the first game in Philly, Oct. 22 against the Cleveland Cavaliers are over $400.

The cheapest seats for the second home game of the year, two nights later against the Milwaukee Bucks, start at around $174.

And that's nothing compared to the Sixers season opener a few nights before, on Oct. 20, against the defending champion New York Knicks. The game in Madison Square Garden starts at nearly $1,287 and the priciest tickets are $5,981.

The Sixers stunning offseason saw them land All-NBA star Jaylen Brown from the Boston Celtics. They then executed the only transaction that could've possibly dwarfed that, by winning the LeBron James sweepstakes.

Brown and LeBron join a superstars Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey, and second year rising star V.J. Edgecombe, in what is on paper the best starting five in the NBA in years.

Analysts around the league are not fully convinced. The Athletic puts the Sixers 4th in preseason rankings, while a three year forecast by NBA.com has Philly at 8th. Some point to issues with meshing so many new players on the roster. Others say the obvious: LeBron is nearing the end of his career and Embiid's injury issues have not gone away. But this is more depth than the Sixers have ever had around Embiid, and they've put together championship contending seasons with far, far less.

Oddsmakers give the Sixers the best chances of winning the Eastern Conference and the third best chances of winning an NBA Title at plus 1000, according to FanDuel. They trail only last year's Western Conference finalists, Oklahoma City and San Antonio.
