Smoke At PHL From Fire Department Training Exercise: Officials
There is no cause for alarm at smoke seen near the Philadelphia International Airport, as it is from Philadelphia Fire Department training.

PHILADELPHIA – There is no cause for alarm from the smoke seen at the Philadelphia International Airport Friday morning, according to airport officials.
Officials told Patch the smoke is from training exercises of the Philadelphia Fire Department.
The fire department's Airport Rescue Fire Fighting unit is conducting the training, according to officials.

Smoke may be visible from the airfield during the training, officials said.
