PHILADELPHIA — Philadelphia park goers will see a new team of people as they visit various parks in the city thanks to the Parks and Recreation Department's Social Distancing Ambassadors Program.

The department is rolling out the program this month as park visitor numbers are at an all-time high.

Parks & Rec employees will serve as ambassadors and support residents, preserve park spaces and most importantly help prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
