South Jersey Skilled Nursing Homes Residents Fly High With the Eagles
Residents at Hammonton Center & Deptford Center Party For the Super Bowl LIX Champs

South Jersey residents and staff from nearby Deptford Center in Deptford and Hammonton Center in Hammonton, had a great time rooting for the Super Bowl champion Eagles on Sumer Bowl Sunday as they watched their Birds blowout the defending Super Bowl champs Kansas City Chiefs 40-24 in Super Bowl LIX. The Recreation Departments at both 240-bed facilities made sure there were plenty of food and snacks that their residents would enjoy, as well as juices and punch that the residents had choices of flavors. In addition to chips and pretzels, plenty of finger foods were offered, but the residents starred at the TV in amazement seeing their Eagles do payback damage to the Chiefs.

"Both of Deptford and Hammonton Centers had amazing Supper Bowl events," said Centers Health Care Administrator Sam Isaak. "At both facilities, we had over 100 residents with family members all dressed in Eagles gear to watch them win. I don't think there was one Chiefs fan at our buildings."

When speaking to the residents at both buildings about the chances of a repeat in next year's Super Bowl, over nine out of ten said the Eagles will be back and if they are, that should be another victory.
