PHILADELPHIA — After being shut out of the opportunity to buy Taylor Swift concert tickets last month, some of her fans will have a new chance to see her May 12, May 13, and May 14 shows at Lincoln Financial Field.

In a widely-chronicled fiasco in November, a huge number of Swift fans were unable to get tickets to her 2023 "The Eras" tour after Ticketmaster canceled their public sale due to overwhelming demand. The ticketing service was flooded by those who had received special verified fan pre-sale codes that enabled them to purchase tickets before the general public.

However, Ticketmaster on Monday notified an undisclosed number of Swifties via email on Monday that they were eligible for the Verified Fan Sale 2.0.

“We apologized for the difficulties you may have experienced, and have been asked by Taylor’s team to create this additional opportunity for you to purchase tickets,” the email stated, according to Billboard.

The opportunity for more verified fans to purchase a maximum of two tickets will start Dec. 23, with invitations issued on a staggered basis by city and tour date.

Pennsylvania Attorney General Josh Shapiro, who had asked disgruntled Swift fans to contact his office last month, applauded the move.

"After working directly with Ticketmaster on behalf of the thousands of consumers who reached out to our office, a new round of ticket opportunities will be coming to PA consumers who received a pre-sale code this month," Shapiro stated on Twitter Tuesday.

"We know all too well this won’t solve every complaint, but it does present those who were kicked off the site or waited hours a chance to shake it off and try again."

In addition to the Lincoln Financial Field appearances, Swift tour will have two other dates in Pennsylvania in 2023: June 16 and June 17 at Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh.
