With the help of Megan McCain from the "The View," a Pennsylvania woman got to meet the pop megastar at one of her recent Philly concerts.

PHILADELPHIA – It seems dreams do come true for some of those who need them most, as one Pennsylvania woman battling cancer got to meet pop megastar Taylor Swift at one of the singer's recent Philadelphia concerts thanks to the help of one of the nation's most popular daytime TV shows.

Lexi Caviston, of Scranton, has been battling a glioblastoma brain cancer for more than half year after being diagnosed in November 2017.

The 21-year-old is a fan of Swift and her friend took to Twitter to see if the star had time to meet with Caviston.

Her friend's tweet caught "The View" host Megan McCain's eye, who encouraged Swift to meet with the young woman. McCain's father Sen. John McCain also battled a glioblastoma.

And lo and behold, at Swift's July 14 concert in Philadelphia, the nursing student's dream came true.

Caviston and Swift got to meet and pose for a photo together before her performance at Lincoln Financial Field.

McCain called Caviston up herself on Friday before the show to give her the good news. You can watch a clip of that moment below.

According to a GoFundMe campaign set up to support Caviston's fight, she has been cancer free for several months, but she still could be treated for the disease for the rest of her life.
