PHILADELPHIA, PA — While pop star Taylor Swift and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce aren't engaged yet, a Philadelphia jeweler wants to make it easier for the couple when it's time to pop the question.

In an interview with Page Six, jewelry designer Steven Singer said he had a "deeply personal" reason for offering the couple a free $1 million custom-made ring.

"My daughter is an avid fan of Taylor Swift, and we admire not only her but also the values she champions,” he told Page Six.

Singer continued, joking, "Perhaps by presenting them with the ring of their dreams, it might make securing concert tickets for her next tour a tad easier."

Singer, whose showroom is located at 739 Walnut St. in Philadelphia, is no stranger to unique advertising stunts.

Since 2002, the jeweler has used the "I hate Steven Singer" tagline on billboards across the country, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer, a slogan inspired by client feedback after the man's wife gave birth nine months after Singer made a ring for their wedding anniversary.

Singer's gesture came after Page Six previously reported that Swift and Kelce had plans to take the next step in their relationship.

Singer told the Inquirer his daughter helped design the ring — a handmade Art Deco style, 7½-carat, emerald-cut natural diamond cast in platinum. If Swift and Kelce opt to pay for the ring, Singer told the Inquirer he plans to donate the proceeds to a charity of their choice.

"It’s an open-ended offer,” Singer told the Inquirer. "Whenever they’re ready, we’re ready."
