Teen Killed, Other Hurt In Wednesday Evening Shooting: Philly Police
A 16-year-old boy died after being shot once in the back Wednesday evening in Philadelphia's Germantown neighborhood, police said.
PHILADELPHIA — A teenager is dead and another is recovering after being shot Wednesday evening in Philadelphia, police said.
The shooting occurred at about 6:37 p.m. at Germantown Avenue and Wister Street.
A 16-year-old boy was shot once in his upper back and was pronounced dead at 6:47 p.m. at Einstein Medical Center.

Also shot was a 17-year-old boy. He was hit by gunfire once in his right hip and is in stable condition at Einstein.
Police have not made any arrests or found any weapons connected to the shooting.
